The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations during the night shift (11:00 pm to 07:00 am). This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Supervision and Leadership:Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and effective workflow.Foster a positive working environment and encourage teamwork among staff members.Operational Efficiency:Monitor and optimise warehouse processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Implement best practices to improve productivity and minimise errors.Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.Inventory Management:Oversee the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products.Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.Implement strategies to minimise stockouts and excess inventory.Quality Control:Ensure that all products meet quality standards and follow proper handling procedures.Implement and enforce quality control measures to prevent damages and losses.Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure working environment.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse staff.Communication:Effectively communicate with team members, management, and other departments.Report on key performance indicators, challenges, and successes during shift meetings.Working Hours:11:00 pm - 7:00 am.ProfileRequirements:Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field.Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Job OfferWhat's on offerOn offer is a competitive annual base salary between $75,000 - $80,000 + 11% superannuation + annual bonus.
