Centre Director - Nominated Supervisor 

Spring Kids Early Learning is an exciting new service in the area of Springvale.

Our centre caters for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years with thoughtfully designed spaces creating our own “home away from home “.

The Role

We have a very rare opportunity for the right leader. 

We are looking for a leader who is excited about this unique opportunity to lead a cutting-edge centre and grow a team and community from day one!

We are looking for a highly motivated and inspiring leader who is passionate about early education and shares our vision for learning. 

The successful applicant should be committed to engaging with children and families in a variety of ways to facilitate their individual learning styles and show a commitment to continuing their own ongoing research and professional growth. 

Previous experince building a new centre would be an advantage but not essesntial.

Within this role you will be managing the day to day operations of the service and have opportunities to guide and mentor Educators, form partnerships with families and engage within the wider community..

Requirements.

To be successful in this position, it is expected that you have:

• Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with families and staff.
• ACECQA-approved Diploma of Children's Services or Early Childhood Teaching Degree or equivalent.
• Desirable - previous leadership and management experience.
• Current Working With Children Check
• Child Protection Training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the NQF and NQS.
• Understanding of and commitment to exemplary practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework
• Effective skills in conflict resolution, team building and implementing. performance review processes.
• Extensive working knowledge of CCS software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements.

Remuneration will be negotiable dependent on applicant skills and abilities. Hours and specific roles and responsibilities will be discussed and negotiated at interview level.
