Two exciting opportunities exist to join the Data Governance team within the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Analytics & Performance Unit in two newly created positions. Where you'll be workingThe roles will be based at Royal North Shore Hospital Campus with some travel required across NSLHD Campuses. NSLHD Analytics and Performance Unit offers flexible working arrangements including working from home.
What you'll be doingThe roles are responsible for the continuous improvement in the Compliance and Quality of key Activity Based Funding (ABF) data collections required to meet NSW Ministry of Health and Northern Sydney Local Health District data submission and reporting requirements.
Position 1 will develop and oversee the Emergency Department (ED) and Non Admitted Patient (NAP) data management framework by developing processes and implement training and Quality improvement activities aimed at improving the ABF Data Collection and Funding within the District.
Position 2 will develop and oversee the Acute Admitted and Sub and Non Acute Patient (SNAP) data management framework by developing processes and implement training and Quality improvement activities aimed at improving the ABF Data Collection and Funding within the District.

- Outline the relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or extensive relevant experience in a large and diverse service industry organisation, or a combination of study and work experience you have that would make you the most suitable person for this role.
- Describe your data management and analysis experience with Non-Admitted Patient data and any other ABF data collections such as ED, Acute Admitted Patients and Sub and Non Acute Patients (SNAP).
- Describe your experience in using Patient Information Systems, Dashboards and/or excel.
- Describe your leadership, communication and negotiation skills when working with stakeholders to drive improvements or process changes.
