Join SVHNS as a pivotal Data Analyst for the Health Equity project, revolutionizing data visibility and collection for vulnerable populations. As a part of the Improvement Team, you'll drive timely data insights to empower decision-making across SVHNS.
Your key objective? Identify and establish data visibility for our vulnerable patient groups, enabling strategic decisions to enhance clinical care and service provision. Define data requirements, collaborate across functions for data definitions, and create comprehensive datasets and visualizations with clinical and executive teams. Harness AI tools for predictive analytics, continuously seeking innovative ways to support clinical care and system improvement.

Proactive and innovative, they'll leverage data insights platforms & AI tools for predictive analytics to support clinical care and system improvement. This role demands a detail-oriented, strategic thinker committed to driving equitable healthcare outcomes through data-driven decision-making.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Formal qualifications in one or more of the following: a clinical discipline, health information management, business/finance, or information technology.
Expertise in business Intelligence and data analytic modelling skills and demonstrates natural curiosity and willingness to explore complex data sets and analysis
3. Experience in end-to-end project delivery and delivery of outcomes
4. Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills including presenting performance improvement via PowerPoint, Microsoft Office Products proficiency
5. High skilled in collaboration and translation of multiple stakeholder requirements into a product fit for purpose that delivers on outcomes
