About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our sales team as NSW Commercial and Pathways Business Development Manager. To be considered for this role you will have to demonstrate your passion and drive to the Sales Director within an organisation that has a thirst for change, growth and innovation.
We are searching for a dynamic, relationship-based Business Development Manager who has a proven track record within Sports Administration, potentially a Professional / Semi Professional Athlete that understands how the sporting industry works and has a desire to get involved and make a difference. Experience in the lifestyle or sports apparel industry’s would be considered a bonus.
Reporting to the Director and working within our existing sales team you will be responsible for the following duties:
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- You will be responsible for identifying new business as well as managing existing Commercial partnerships including State Sporting Organisations across NSW.
- Developing plans through product and sales forecasting.
- Developing and maintaining effective customer relationships.
- Overseeing the entire client experience from product development to event sales / analysis
- Keeping up to date with market and competitor intelligence.
- Identifying key market influencers and providing analysis of buying trends.
- Reporting sales figures internally.
- Running monthly meetings with key stakeholders internally.
- Identifying new and innovative sales/product ideas within the sport style market.
- Serving as liaison with clients regarding new product lines.
- Coordinating and assisting ongoing customer training on product knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary degree in Business would be an advantage.
- A direct understanding of the sporting or sportswear industry.
- Passion and/or experience in sportswear fashion and design is highly desirable.
- Prior pre-sales and/or post-sales or consultancy experience highly advantageous
Fulltime role: Monday to Friday
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
