Our client is a nationally recognised and loved brand. They are looking for their next Regional Manager to oversee 10+ stores.
Your new role
- Embody the brand's traits, visions and standards
- Conduct regular and structured store visits, to review the performance of stores and individuals
- Ensure all stores have a focus on the engagement and wellbeing of their team
- Recruit, induct and develop new Store Managers across the remit
- Have an active succession plan in place for all roles
- Value the success of your direct reports. Coach and mentor your team to maintain high team morale and encourage their individual development.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities and action training plan
- Ensure efficient operation of your stores to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPI’s, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control and shrinkage
- Oversee accurate implementation of national promotions, maintaining high Visual Merchandising (VM) to brand standards at all times.
- Build relationships across regions to share best practice in execution.
- Train managers in the prevention of shrinkage. Develop plans to reduce shrinkage where the accepted levels have been exceeded
- Provide a safe working environment for your team, ensuring their safety, health & wellbeing at work, and maintaining this through the operational managers & team leaders.
What you'll need to succeed
- The successful candidate will have an eye for style, a friendly and approachable demeanour. We are looking for candidates with minimum 4-5 years' experience managing multiple retail sites and/or managing large teams remotely in either an Area or Regional Manager position.
