Form of workDue to exciting venue growth, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Northern region which includes our venues in Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland. Based in Sydney with frequent travel requirements, this pivotal role involves steering the operational excellence of multiple sites, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals, and maintaining the highest standards of service and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and drive the successful implementation, development, and maintenance of operational procedures, standards, and goals.
- Manage significant projects, including venue openings and commercial improvement initiatives. Assist with contractor management, recruitment, marketing activations and menu development.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Build and maintain robust supplier relationships and manage commercial negotiations to ensure beneficial procurement outcomes.
- Full P&L accountability, managing revenues in excess of $35 million, and identifying opportunities for financial optimisation.
- Oversee, drive and maintain food safety and liquor compliance standards
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in operations management within the hospitality industry, with a strong track record in multi-site management.
- Proven ability in leading commercial projects related to suppliers, procurement, and venue development.
- Exceptional leadership capabilities, with experience in team development and achieving operational excellence.
- Strategic thinker with a robust understanding of financial management and commercial drivers.
- Significant stakeholder management including suppliers, landlords, project managers, contractors, and internal support office services.
