What you’ll do
Are you ready to take the reins and drive the performance and profitability of Retail strategy in Licensed Venues and TAB Agencies? If you're passionate about creating unparalleled experiences for punters and thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment, we want you on our team!
As the State Manager for Retail Strategy, you'll hold end-to-end accountability for the success of our Retail strategy within the designated region of NSW and ACT. Your primary focus will be on driving growth initiatives and ensuring that TAB remains the first choice for punters in the retail channel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the charge in optimising venue performance across Northern NSW
- Champion Risk & Regulatory activities within our partner venues.
- Spearhead our digital presence, ensuring our venues stand out as leaders in digital performance.
- Collaborate closely with Channel Development, Trade Engagement, Marketing, and Retail teams to implement and activate the Retail strategy.
- Implement a robust commercial model to drive sales and profitability
- Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of Wagering Sales Executives, ensuring their performance and compliance adherence.
- Proactively cultivate and manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of financial drivers, demographic trends, customer behaviours, and the gambling industry landscape
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reports to support decision-making processes.
- Flexibility is required (includes night-work) and Saturday or Sunday shift as needed - the schedule for this position is determined by a race calendar
What you’ll bring
