The Role
We are seeking an experienced individual with a background in Agronomy/Agricultural Science who is passionate about the research of agricultural production to take on the opportunity of NSW Trials and R&D Manager with Delta Agribusiness. The successful applicant will ideally be based in Young or Wagga however we are open to alternate locations within our region. In this role you will work closely with our experienced team of over 65 agronomists to design and execute our research and development strategy.

- Developing professional relationships with agronomy team in order to design relevant trials programs that target key industry matters such as plant nutrition, pest management, disease management and product application techniques through all stages of production.
- Working with both internal and external key stakeholders to oversee end-to-end trial programs.
- Point of contact for information around research and trial programs for both staff, clients and industry representatives where necessary.
- Conduct field demonstrations and trial work for product development in conjunction with key suppliers.
To be successful in the role you will:
- The successful candidate must have a degree in agronomy or tertiary qualification of similar nature and must have experience a minimum of 3 years' experience in trials management.
- You must have a commitment to achieving team goals, highly developed interpersonal skills and dedication to customer service.
- An understanding of agchem products, seasonal timing and general requirements of rural producers within the area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
