Position Summary
- Part time, fixed term secondment until 1 March 2023
- Based at Thomas Embling Hospital
About the role:
- The Nurse Clinical Administrator (RPN4) plays a key role in providing customer service, administrative and operational support to the Clinical administration office.
- The position is responsible for the effective resource management and allocation for Thomas Embling Hospital and prison services under the delegation of the Clinical Administration Manager.
- The Nurse Clinical Administrator position supports the organisation in ensuring that high levels of clinical nursing standards are established and maintained across Thomas Embling Hospital.
About you:
- Demonstrated ability to manage human resources at a service level.
- A sound understanding of nursing staff resources and allocation to provide a safe, therapeutic environment on a shift by shift basis.Knowledge of legislation and systems pertinent to forensic mental health
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and as part of the clinical administration team.
- Demonstrated a commitment to the principles of consumer and family/care rights and responsibilities and inclusion of consumer and family/carer perspectives into service delivery.
