- Salary: $121,537 - $126,970 p.a. - RN/M3; Temporary Full-Time - 38 hours per week, up until 11 October 2024

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Nurse Consultant with the SA Intellectual Disability Health Service (SAIDHS). SAIDHS is the state-wide health service for adults with intellectual disabilities and complex care needs.
The SAIDHS Nurse Consultant works in collaboration with the patient, their family, carers, NDIS providers, community clinicians, and other members of the SAIDHS interdisciplinary team, to effectively plan and provide healthcare services for people with intellectual disabilities. Working out of a community-based setting at Ingle Farm, the Nurse Consultant provides clinical oversight of new referrals, coordinates SAIDHS Healthcare Access Service, attends multiagency meetings, provides clinical support of RN2s and liaises with GPs and other primary health care providers.
To be eligible for this position you must be a Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate and has at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
