Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
The CYMHS Nurse Educator is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation and assessment of nursing & medical education programs, managing educational resources and providing paediatric nursing expertise related to educational issues within CYMHS. The Nurse Educator leads and supports a culture of development and enquiry which actively encourages and facilitates clinical, professional and organisational learning within a Supported Practice Framework.
Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) at Children's Health Queensland specialises in helping infants, children and young people up to the age of 18 years who have complex Mental Health needs.
CYMHS works collaboratively and in a recovery-oriented way with infants, children and young people and their families. This means we recognise and help build on individual and family strengths for better health and wellbeing. By working together, we support children, young people and families to get back on track to reach their optimal Mental Health. outreach education for clinicians.
