The unit has a pivotal role in ensuring that the education and training of prevocational doctors meets the standards set by the Medical Board of Australia.

About the Role
- accountable for the design, implementation, assessment and evaluation of education programs consistent with the strategic priorities of the PAH MEU.
- lead and support a culture of development and enquiry which actively encourages and facilitates clinical, professional and organisational learning within a Supported Practice Framework.
- manage educational resources and provide expertise and leadership in the delivery of education to prevocational doctors.
- assist in the design and delivery of contemporary education sessions, which may include clinical simulation and teamwork training.
