About the role
- The primary purpose of the SPM roles within the CWID team is to support the Director, CWID by taking responsibility for the planning, management, reporting and day to day oversight of projects and the delivery team across the large geographical project areas of Metro North Health (MNH).
- This will include, but not be limited to, assisting the planning team with the master-planning and business case development for small to medium value projects, managing the design and delivery of capital building and infrastructure projects, reporting time cost and scope key performance indicators and representing the CWID department at meetings with Directorates, Facilities, Internal and External Stakeholders, and as required with Health Capital Division and Queensland Health Stakeholders.
- The primary purpose of the SPM roles within the CMCW team is to support the Client-side Project Director, CMCW by taking responsibility for client-side impacts and project coordination as it relates to the programming, design management, building delivery and construction management, reporting and day to day oversight of specific CEP projects impacting Metro North.
- This will include, but not be limited to, coordinating and managing Metro North interests in the design process including participating and assisting in coordinating user consultation and building delivery coordination including coordination with local Hospital stakeholders to ensure management of Metro North interests, reporting time cost and scope key performance indicators, managing and escalating risks and issues as they relate to Metro North and representing the Metro North at meetings with Directorates, Facilities, Internal and External Stakeholders, and as required with Health Capital Division and Queensland Health Stakeholders.
- The SPM roles will ensure Metro North Health's Building and Infrastructure project investment, delivery and outcomes are achieved in adherence to MNH Clinical Design Guidelines, Sustainable Assets and Infrastructure's (SAI) Sustainable Design Guidelines, MNH Health Equity Initiatives through better building design and MNH ICT Digital focus related to innovation and new technology for critical infrastructure investments.
- The SPM roles will manage strategic and day to day staff planning, performance and human resource responsibilities while focusing on teamwork, performance, accountability, transparency, and value for money outcomes. The SPM members will mentor the team and ensure MNH values are promoted and supported through the development of the department, succession planning and high performance within a challenging capital works environment.
