Bega the rural heartland of the Sapphire Coast halfway between Melbourne and Sydney, a short drive to beautiful sandy beaches and national park wilderness. Just 3 hours to Canberra with the perfect climate to the outdoors all year round, including whale watching between June and November. The pretty valley is a beautiful base for exploring gorgeous beaches, tranquil waterways and beautiful national parks.What you'll be doingCoordinate in-hours Patient Flow services including movements into, through and out of inpatient units across the Facilities. This position leads and supports clinical staff by to achieve a seamless patient, client or consumer journey.Selection Criteria * Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant management qualification and/or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to provide leadership and direction to staff with demonstrated capacity to manage clinical services, apply problem solving strategies and support continuous quality improvement.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication, consultation and negotiation skills necessary to build and maintain collaborative relationships with individuals and other health professionals.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to contribute to service development, planning and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and monitor nursing resource allocations, FTE and workload to meet facility performance requirements.
  • Proven ability to function effectively as part of team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines.
  • Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
