DNA Nursing is currently working with an Aboriginal Medical Service in Central Queensland who have established a new Nurse Practitioner position to work across two busy clinics in the local area. This is a Full Time, Monday to Friday position - so no shift work!
Responsibilities:
- Patient assessment and diagnosis
- Prescribe medications, order therapies, and recommend lifestyle modifications to manage chronic conditions effectively
- Ordering and analysing pathology and radiological testing
- Peer case reviews
- Treatment and education to patients with chronic diseases
- Individual Care Plans
- Patient education
- Health literacy and patient engagement promotion
- Chronic Disease Management

- AHPRA Registration and endorsed Nurse Practitioner
- NPC
- WWCC
