The Nurse Practitioner they’re seeking requires someone who’s keenly awake to the importance of first-class carefor residents. An ethical, professional and intuitive people-person who’s comfortable within any echelon,you’ll never catch them napping. Equally adept acting autonomously or in collaboration, they’re as acutely attentive of people as they are clinical best practice.

AND YOU ARE…?
… about to be, or already certified as a Nurse Practitioner, with high-level nursing skills and a good grounding in adult and aged health. You also have:
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Have High EQ
- Tech Savvy
- Time management and planning abilities
- Team orientation & relationships building abilities
Reporting to the Executive Care Manager, the role requires:
- An advanced level of clinical input and independent practice that can advocate for and direct residents’ care in a timely manner
- The ability to nurture and upskill registered nurses and care team to instil confidence in improving resident outcomes.
- Partnering with GPs and primary healthcare providers tooptimise available resources and outcomes
- The capacity to assess complex situations, enabling staff to confidently deliver appropriate care
- Providing first class care that facilitates hospital avoidance
- Ensuring good deaths and end of life care
