As the current Premiers Small Health Service of the Year award recipient, South Gippsland Hospital is looking for a person who wants to contribute to the South Gippsland Hospital Operational Management Team, as the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) Acute, in the picturesque township of Foster, located in the beautiful Corner Inlet region of South Gippsland.
Reporting to the Director of Nursing (DON), the NUM provides leadership and management of the acute ward. Supported by a stable and highly skilled clinical team, the NUM is responsible for the provision of contemporary clinical services in the admitted acute, perinatal maternity services and urgent care centre.
