Nurse Unit Manager – Angliss Specialist Clinics

Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. An opportunity exists in Acute Specialist Clinics at Angliss hospital for a passionate and enthusiastic Nurse to lead a busy department striving to meet the needs of patients from the community by providing a range of specialist services. Approximately 160 000 occasions of service are provided annually across Eastern Health Specialist Clinics. These include new patients referred from the community, review appointments for ongoing care and post admission follow up from Eastern Health’s network of hospitals.
About the role
You will be working with a multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care to our patients. Currently, exciting work is continuing in Acute Specialist Clinics to improve patient’s access to clinics through centralisation of services, capacity expansion and electronic integration of the referral management process.
About you
To be successful in this role you should possess:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience in senior leadership and managerial role and demonstrated ability to effectively lead change and improvement work
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
