SalaryDelta Wholesale Nurseries is a busy wholesale/production nursery located in Yandina. We are currently looking for a motivated person to join our small team. We are a rapidly expanding business, seeking an experienced Nursery Hand or horticulturist to carry out a variety of tasks.
Tasks will include despatching plants to our customers, potting, maintenance on product in the field, fertilising, weeding and other general nursery duties. This is an outside job, and will involve carrying and stacking plants as well as weeding/cleaning and other maintenance. A reasonable degree of physical fitness will be required. We are a small team, so the successful applicant will need to be motivated to work on their own, or with others. Experience/knowledge of nurseries and the industry will be required.
We are currently recruiting for a part time/casual position, initially seeking 4 days per week, though this may vary based on the experience and suitability of the candidate. Wage will be above award with initial expected hours to be Mon-Thursday 7am-4pm.
