We are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services across various specialties, and we're currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing and Allied Health Manager to join our team on a Fixed term (6 month) contract.
Position Overview: As the Nursing and Allied Health Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating our nursing and Allied Health services. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, managing a team of skilled professionals, and contributing to the growth and success of our healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of nurses and Allied Health professionals.
- Assist in ongoing service design and innovation for complimentary care services
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other healthcare departments to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Monitor and maintain staffing levels to meet patient needs and budgetary constraints.
- Evaluate and address patient care issues, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes.
- Promote a culture of patient-centered care and service excellence.
- Oversee the scheduling, training, and professional development of staff.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
- Stay current with healthcare regulations, trends, and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Appropriate current professional registration or certification
- Strong leadership, team-building and change management skills.
- Strong understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule as it applies to Primary Healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in healthcare technology and electronic health records.
