Nutrition Assistant

Job Description:The role: We are seeking a highly motivated Casual Nutrition Assistant to join our Nutrition Services team at Sydney Private Hospital Sydney. We currently have a casual opportunity for a Nutrition Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to provide a high quality menu and nutrition based service to our patients. The position requires a strong focus on patient interaction and menu selection via our patient bedside menu service.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):Provide nutritional support to patients by assisting patients with their meal selections according to their dietary, social and physical needs through the co-ordination of menus and meals using a computerised Bedside Menu ServiceCustomer Service is delivered through a high standard of menu and meal service to ensure patient satisfactionCo-ordinate all patient food and beverage requirements from the patient care level to Food ServicesEncourage and promote communication between dietitians, food service staff and nursing staff on patient care levels…
