About the role
The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will also build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. In this role you will:
- Conduct guard patrols across the premises and be responsible for security site unlock and lock-ups
- Escort staff and personnel on site
- Monitor CCTV footage and actioning breach situations appropriately
- Direct roving Security Officers to respond to alarms and take appropriate action
- Using appropriate methods of communication (e.g. radio, phone, log books) to report incidents and issues
- Maintaining logs and records of occurrences, completing necessary paperwork, and using computer terminal to input and retrieve data
MSS Security is seeking expressions of interest from Security Officers holding a NV1 security clearance to fill the multiple available roles:
- Level 5 - Team Leader
- Level 4 - Control Room Officer
- Level 4 - Reception/Concierge Officer
- Level 2 - Patrol/Gatehouse Officer
Skills & experience
- Current SA Security License and Drivers License
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- NV1 Clearance
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Ability to work in high pressure environments
