Talking Matters is a division of the Torrens Health group. We employ passionate, fun & committed Occupational Therapists & Speech Pathologists to work with children with a wide variety of developmental & learning needs aged from 0 to 18 years. Our services are provided either in our well resourced clinics in Elizabeth Downs & Christie Downs or within schools, preschools or homes and include individual & group therapy.
The role
Seeking enthusiastic and experienced OTs to join an established, respected and growing practice in Elizabeth Downs. The duties of this position will require you to:
- provide occupational therapy services to children in our fully resourced clinics, schools or client's homes
- support children with a range of disabilities to reach their individual potential
- work within a team of multi-disciplinary professionals to develop and deliver high quality therapeutic services
- supervise university student placements
- mentor junior staff, dependent upon experience.
About you
You will need to demonstrate:
- Recognised University qualifications in Occupational Therapy & current registration with AHPRA
- Clinical experience working as an OT in a paediatric setting
- OTA Membership preferable
- Strong communication & time management skills
- Ability to work within a team & autonomously
- Commitment to innovation & service improvement along with continuing professional development
- Current drivers license and vehicle
- Prior leadership experience will be advantageous.
