Occupational Therapist
Pindara Private Hospital and The Southport Private Hospital
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Allied Health Services Team, in a full-time capacity.
The Opportunity
This opportunity will see the successful applicant provide effective and efficient Occupational Therapy services to our Hospital patients and customers.
The position operates as part of our Occupational Therapy team in the provision of a high standard of Occupational Therapy to acute medical and surgical inpatients, and Rehabilitation and Mental Health patients, including planning of complex discharges for both private and DVA patients.
Reporting to the Allied Health Services Managers, you will work closely with other members of the Allied Health Team and provide support to the senior management team when required.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional customer service, strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. You will also meet the following:
Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration
Degree in Occupational Therapy
At least 2 years of hospital experience is highly desirable
Demonstrated skills and knowledge in Occupational Therapy management of acute and rehabilitation patients
Proven ability to work across multiple clinical areas
Demonstrated excellent organisation and workload management skills
Competence in splinting, and skills in Lymphoedema treatment is highly desirable
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $41.33 - $56.36 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Health Professionals PO2.2 – PO3.3)

Requirements
Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
