  • Perm Full-time or part-time roles in Western Sydney/Blue Mtns, South West and Inner West
  • Purposeful work that makes a difference to improving quality of life
  • Join our growing Allied Health team providing community rehabilitation and restorative programs

The opportunity

As an Occupational Therapist (Full-time or Part-time) you’ll be a valued member of our growing restorative care team, working closely with an experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide tailored and individualised services to people within the community. A typical day will involve assessing functional care needs, setting clear care goals, and providing treatment and intervention.

This will include client home visits and group activities across a range of settings (in-home rehabilitation or clinic-based). You will deliver person-centred care in an environment that promotes continuous quality improvement consistent with the values of HammondCare and the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).

The current roles are Permanent Full-time or Part-time in Western Sydney/Blue Mountains, South West Sydney and the Inner West. We also are looking for candidates for potential roles in other areas of metropolitan Sydney.

About you

  • A tertiary qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration and practical experience, or sound knowledge in a Rehabilitation or Aged Care setting. This can include inpatient/outpatient, community settings, or both.
  • You’re a strong communicator, and able to plan and manage your time effectively.
  • Enjoy working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and safe driving record to travel between client’s homes and HammondCare locations (travel costs reimbursed).
