Position: Library Data Officer
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until the 19th July (5 days per week)
Salary: $41.38 - $52.00 per hour including casual loading (plus superannuation)
Location: Ultimo, Sydney

Primary Purpose of the Position

The Library Data Officer delivers high quality Library Data and administration to support the delivery of outstanding customer experience to the Library community.
 
Key accountabilities/responsibilities

• Manage and analyse Library Data to drive strategic decision-making
• Construct PowerBI reports that merge data as well as clean and structure source data into a presentable format
• Create/ build dashboards using PowerBI
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analytics and reporting tasks
• Support with other business support elements such as Purchase order processing and other administrative tasks

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting
• Experience using PowerBI. SharePoint and Excel
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to tackle problems systematically
• A passion for all things data
• A proactive self-starter approach to tasks and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex data insights clearly
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics or relevant field
