About the Role
We are inviting applications from Occupational Therapists interested in working as part of a progressive team on a full time or part time basis.
As an Occupational Therapist you will have the opportunity to deliver a diverse range of services including;
- NDIS; Develop a broad scope of clinical skills working with participants across the lifespan with a wide range of conditions, disabilities, presentations and situations. Make a difference for participants through strong advocacy work via assessment, prescription and intervention.
- Complete a variety of assessments including; Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA), Supported Independent Living (SIL)/Individualised Living Options (ILO), Exploring Housing Options (EHO) and more
- Deliver prescription solutions; Assistive Technology and Minor through to Complex Home Modifications
- Intervention services; basic I/ADL skill training, sensory processing and integration, self-regulation through to musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Master report writing skills in a supportive environment, integral to the delivery of NDIS services
- Return to work; job analyses, functional capacity evaluations and return to work planning.
- Injury prevention; pre employment assessments, ergonomic assessments, training and onsite occupational therapy services.

Working in our large team ensures you will always have senior occupational therapy, medical or other allied health staff to mentor and provide support. CHG operates attractive hours with no weekend work and minimal out of hours work, you will almost always be rostered between 8am and 5pm.

Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position you must be willing to participate in appropriate police checks, a NDIS Worker Screening and hold current unconditional AHPRA registration.
The successful candidate will have a current clean Drivers Licence and be willing to travel for work related purposes from time to time.
A positive outlook and flexible approach is essential for success in this role. Your strong communication skills will be well utilised as you work with staff and patients on a daily basis.
