Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 per year

Purpose:
As an Occupational Therapist with Conscious Healthcare SA, you'll play a crucial role in transforming lives through specialised occupational therapy services. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals, whether it's working with children in paediatrics, providing assistive technology solutions, or managing complex home modifications. You will step into a supportive, values-driven team and a full caseload, making an immediate impact. The role can vary with in clinic and community work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services within the NDIS framework.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans.
  • Engage with clients and families to set and track progress towards meaningful goals.
  • Provide insights and strategies within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Lead, coach, and share your expertise with peers and across the organisation.
  • Identify world-leading practices in disability support and contribute to business improvement strategies.
  • Handle complex and sensitive matters, assess support needs, and identify early intervention benefits.

Duties:

  • Adhere to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Code of Conduct.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and design effective interventions.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals for holistic care.
  • Advocate for clients and families in community and professional settings.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Work collaboratively to enhance service effectiveness.
  • Ensure cohesive service delivery across varied locations within Greater Adelaide.
  • Participate in case reviews, conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Represent the organisation in building inclusive communities.
  • Undertake quality reviews and maintain high standards of record-keeping.
  • Manage confidential information and make informed decisions in line with NDIS Act 2013.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Positive, contemporary attitudes towards disability.
  • Specialized knowledge in occupational therapy (paediatrics, assistive technology, or complex home modifications).
  • Strong communication skills, especially with clients and families.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Understanding of disability impacts and experience with disability support.
  • Competency in IT systems and assessment tools.
