About the Team
Our Occupational Therapy Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Occupational Therapists play a critical role in helping people of all ages to overcome the effects of disability caused by illness, ageing or accident so that they can carry out everyday tasks or occupations and participate in the activities of everyday life. Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina. Benefits of working for Mackay HHS Remuneration
