Job description

We are a busy Electrical, Air Conditioning & Plumbing business looking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team. We receive a high volume of customer enquiries, so the successful applicant will need to be confident and have excellent communication skills.

We currently have a full-time position available in Office Administration with an immediate start available.  Hours would be 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri.  Applicants must be friendly, self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

The applicant will possess the following qualities:

  • Great customer service skills and a friendly personality
  • Proficient use in Microsoft office programs
  • Great telephone technique & manner
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to cope in stressful situations
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills

You will be directly responsible for:

  • Handling a high volume of general phone enquiries and sales
  • Assisting in making and scheduling telephone and electronic bookings
  • Checking off staff timesheets
  • Maintaining stationery and office supplies
  • Managing and entering accounts receivable and invoicing
  • Following up on outstanding and overdue accounts
  • General filing and office duties
