Leading window furnishings specialist Canberra Blinds, Awnings and Curtain Centre is growing and requires the support of a talented Administrative Assistant with customer service skills to join our team.
Canberra Blinds, Awning & Curtain Centre situated in Fyshwick ACT is unique in the window furnishings industry. We provide our customers with new blinds, awnings, roofing systems and curtains that can be fitted with automation technologies via remote control, voice or apps - exciting products that are a joy to use!
Different from others in our industry, we clean, repair & alter window furnishings too - that's any brand, not only those we sell. We are known across the Canberra region by our loyal domestic, commercial and government customers, who repeatedly book our services.
Due to expansion we are seeking a customer service focused person to support the day to day running of the business.
The role is a front line position located in our showroom and will encompass but is not limited to:
- Consulting with customers in our showroom, reception and showroom duties, liaison with customers, suppliers & staff via phone, email & face to face
- Handling enquiries from our website
- Managing phone enquiries (Both inbound & outbound)
- Qualifying leads for our Senior consultants
- Maintaining a materials library and liaising with various suppliers
- Ensuring the showroom is presentable
- Keeping client job folders up to date
- Maintaining a customer database (HubSpot)
- Supporting the procurement team
- Administrative tasks
- maintenance of a clean & tidy working environment
- prompt response to the requests/requirements of customers, suppliers & staff
- management of calendar bookings for installers & maintenance technicians
- observance & adherence to procedures ensuring the efficient flow of work requests, customer orders, product returns etc.
- use of computer to create job orders, update records with accuracy etc.
- monitor and replenish stock levels of spare parts

- HubSpot Experience (Well regarded)

- Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy setting
Desirable skills & competencies :
- familiarity with computers, email & messaging systems etc
- willingness to learn, adapt to & use unfamiliar software

Whilst the role is full-time based, with your availability to work Saturday's essential. There is the option for part-time and flexible hours, which can be further discussed upon the suitability of your application.There may be the option to work alternate Saturday's if necessary.
