We have an exciting opportunity for a confident Accounts Receivable Assistant/Office Administrator to come and work in our tight-knit and fun team.
Part of your role will be but not limited to getting money in from our debtors, we want you to start your day thinking about collecting our outstanding overdues! Equally you need to understand that our debtors are our customers who we value, so you need to be able to have that mix of respect for the customer, but perseverance to get them to pay their bills!
To be successful in this role you will be a team player, have great attention to detail and be easy going. You will need to be able to pick things up quickly and be self-managing.
Key Responsibilities will include;
- Credit Account applications processed, including due diligence to assess credit risk
- AR collections and AR Invoicing
- Management of our job number database
- Travel bookings
- Fuel Card management
What we require;
- understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Good written and spoken English
- Someone determined and self-confident, you may have to pick up the phone and call people for payment
- Someone with previous debt collecting experience
- Someone with knowledge in the construction industry
