As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Office Administrator / Event Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
Job Description:
The person will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office by handling a diverse range of tasks, including event communications, such as gather quotes and liaising with suppliers and performers, event document preparation, internal company communications, stock control, running general errands, and administration duties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, exceptional communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook applications, and a willingness to contribute to a fun and busy team environment. Approximately 15 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Handle correspondence professionally and in a timely manner
- Manage and order office supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- Source reliable office suppliers and maintain vendor relationships
- Document preparation
- Data entry
- Running errands
- Purchase office and IT supplies as needed
- Assist the team with tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook applications
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a small, fun, and busy team environment
- Willingness to contribute, a can-do attitude
- Confidence
- Quick and rational thinking
- Knowledge of cloud sharing platforms and Excel is beneficial
- Familiarity with Teams
- Ability to work closely with others and take direction
- Flexibility with working days/hours
- Your own reliable vehicle (kms are reimbursed)
