The role is full time : Monday to Friday - up to a 38 hour week.

Working as part of a friendly team, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :
Key Responsibilities :
- Reception and Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the office. Provide administration support to the team as required.
- Data Entry: Accurate and efficient data entry of various business-related information. Purchase Order requisitions, Purchase Orders, data entry of Accounts Payable Invoices, reconciling statements, general accounts assistance, general admin and office duties etc.
- Order Processing: Pickup and delivery of parts as required. Booking and packing freight deliveries to and from suppliers. Obtain quotes for parts, transport and freight as required.
- Inventory / Stock Control: Maintain and monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the team to ensure adequate stock levels for the workshop and the offices.
- Customer Support : Provide exceptional customer service by addressing enquiries, resolving issues and maintaining positive client and supplier relationships.
- Documentation : Maintain and organize company records, including invoices, receipts etc, along with general file management and archiving.
Highly desirable attributes include :
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a mining, construction, mechanical or equipment hire environment.
- Reliable, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Display excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive and professional attitude, with the ability to work independently and complete tasks within a given time frame.
- Approachable and always willing to assist both colleagues and visitors with a can do positive attitude (a must)
- Experience in Accounts Payable or general Accounts data entry preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain a very high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of MYOB Account Right or MYOB Advanced processes and terminology is advantageous.
- Must hold a current Drivers Licence.
- A forklift licence or experience would be advantageous – but will provide a training / course for the right candidate.
