Kaleen Primary School, located in Belconnen, is a P-6 school with 483 students and approximately 50 staff. At Kaleen Primary School, our priorities are learning progress for all students, and positive social and emotional development for all staff and students. Kaleen Primary School is seeking to build a cohesive team keeping students at the centre of everything we do.
As part of the administration team the Administrative and Excursion Officer will be required to work independently and collaboratively within the front office environment. The successful applicant will manage the day-to-day operations of the front office and coordinate all excursions incursions within the school while working closely with the Business Manager. The applicant will coordinate all incursions and excursions, supporting teaching staff to ensure compliance. The applicant will have strong communication skills, high level customer service as well as a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. This is a permanent part time position working from 8:30am to 4:00pm daily. There is also a requirement to work an additional six days during stand down.
Eligibility/Other requirements: Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. First Aid qualification. A First Aid Certificate or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
