Office Manager (Group Accountant)

Your New Role: As the Group Accountant you will lead both the accounting team and oversee the office management at our Mandurah headquarters. This role requires managing and coordinating the workflow for the Group’s Accounts and Administration functions, ensuring efficiency and compliance across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: Direct a small team in responsibilities ranging from Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Stock Control, and Month End processes.
• Financial Operations: Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, planning, and management including monthly accounts preparation with insightful commentary, financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow analyses.
• Compliance and Reporting: Manage compliance activities such as BAS, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and PAYG, along with ad hoc reporting projects and modelling.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify system improvements and enhance procedures to boost financial and operational performance.
• Office Management: Ensure smooth running of all administrative tasks and maintain well-documented business procedures.

About You:

• Qualifications: CA/CPA/CIMA qualified with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading an accounting/administrative team with a strong focus on development.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MYOB and Excel; familiarity with Castaway software is a plus.
• Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing or retail highly regarded.
• Personal Qualities: Excellent time management and organizational skills, proactive, quick thinker with a results and solutions-oriented mindset.
