The Role
We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager for HIA’s Macquarie Park office The Office Manager will provide administrative support to the Deputy Executive Director, and maintain the operational efficiency and coordination of the administrative team and building systems for the HIA Sydney and NSW regional offices.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- General Office Management, including ensuring the administrative function of the Sydney office runs as smoothly as possible;
- Facility Management by maintaining the operational efficiency and coordination of building systems and maintenance issues for the Sydney office;
- Provide assistance and allocation of work to reception and administrative staff in Sydney and regional NSW offices;
- Executive and NSW Regional Committee Support.
The ideal applicant will have the qualities of:
- Experience in a similar role at an executive level
- High level organisational skills
- An ability to work under pressure to carry out high level organisational and planning tasks to tight deadlines
- An ability to use judgement in identifying priority matters and to interpret the policy and business needs of the organisation
- Ability and initiative in identifying business and operational matters that require the specific attention of senior management (e.g. in areas such as member servicing, publications, member complaints etc)
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel
