Our client is a multi-faceted basketball enterprise, who are owners of two high profile elite NBL basketball teams. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/ HR administrator who will be responsibility for the management, efficiency and implementation of administrative and office
processes and procedures across all areas of the business.
Day to day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Assess and review all company processes and systems; where systems and processes need improvement, develop and implement new procedures for business efficiency.
- Maintain office filing systems, records management, including leases, insurance policies, and other relevant company documentation.
- Maintain company property and asset register, including security, return and maintenance of all property held by employees and/or the business
- Contract management for all suppliers, including insurance policies, fleet management, merchandise, travel, IT and all other key business suppliers
- Provide administrative support to Ownership and the Board as and when required
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR platform, including employee records, assets held, policy updates, etc;
- Manage any Workers Compensation issues, injury management and record keeping, including policy management. Liaise with Finance to complete the annual review for all entities.
- Work with the CEO of Basketball Operations and Head of Operations to onboard new players arriving in Australia via the HR platform, co-ordinate accommodation, visas, relocation management, travel, transfers, and any other support needed to accommodate international player roster and local player operational support.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role, within a professional environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to be proactive, multi-task and effectively prioritise
- High attention to detail and process driven
- Integrity and confidentiality in management of private company information
- Flexible and ability to adapt to change.
