The UTS Global Mobility Programs team, under the Global Engagement portfolio at UTS International, manages all mobility and exchange initiatives.
About the Role
We have an opening for two Officers - Global Mobility Programs, to join our team, on a full-time, fixed term basis for 12 months.
The Officer, UTS Global Mobility Programs performs tasks and provides advice that ensure the effective operation of the University's Global Mobility Programs.
The incumbent's responsibilities may include promotion and administration of reciprocal Exchange and Short Term Programs; Provision of client-focussed service and support of applicants; and effective collaboration and engagement with partner universities and third-party providers.
The incumbent performs tasks that facilitate programs within the context of agreed protocols and ensures compliance with government, university and partner requirements. The role provides support and advice to strengthen and generate program opportunities, including assisting with grant applications, competitor comparisons and market scans.
The officer collaborates with UTS faculties and academics, and student administration unit to enable diverse, safe and risk-assured programs, and supports financial administration with relation to fees, insurances and the award of scholarships and loans.
The incumbent's responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and administration that ensure proposed study programs are appropriate and relevant in liaison with exchange partners, agents or providers (external).
- Administering effective procedures that enable Global Mobility Program studies in liaison with staff in faculties, SAU student centres (Internal).
- Developing promotional collateral, and promoting Programs to prospective student groups via online and face-to-face information sessions
- Preparing communications and providing advice which assist students and partners with applications to programs.
- Ensuring active and balanced agreements and collaborative partnerships for the effective continuation of UTS Global Mobility Programs
- Supporting effective information systems and digital resources are used to maintain and monitor the operations and effectiveness of Global Mobility Programs

- Attention to detail and experience in applying policies and procedures to enable successful program operations
- Ability to work with a team, to successfully promote a program to potential customers
- Demonstrated customer service focus, and excellent interpersonal skills that enable effective interactions with internal and external clients
- Competence in information technology, including databases, web and social media, and ability to contribute to continuous improvement of operations
- Relevant experience in Global Mobility or learning abroad programs in the tertiary education sector is preferred
Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $91,254 to $98,805 pa (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
