We are looking for two experienced OHS Coordinators to join our OHS team. The main function of the role is to coordinate specific OHS management systems and programs at Baker Institute sites.
Successful applicants will be highly motivated, an excellent communicator with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
Key dutiesIn this role you will be expected to:
- Coordinate and maintain the audit and inspection program.
- Assist with the training program.
- Assist with the coordination of the chemical management program.
- Maintenance of the risk assessment register.
- Support general team administrative tasks.
You will have:
- Certificate IV OHS, or completing Cert IV.
- Experience working in a research laboratory environment (desirable).
- Knowledge of legislation, regulations, and practices governing workplace health and safety.
- Demonstrated ability to be a proactive team member and contribute to team development.
