Your future role
Austin has an exciting Full- time opportunity for an OHS & Workshop Administrator. As the OHS & Workshop Administrator you will assist the Manufacturing and SHE Manager to ensure workshop administrative tasks are completed in a timely, and accurate manner and ensuring that all Occupational Health, & Safety policies and procedures are followed, as well as adhering to other company policies, guidelines at all times.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & LICENCES
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
- Conduct safety inductions when requested by Workshop Administrator or Management. This includes copying/filing employees' certs/ licences.
- Support the onboarding process of all new and returning workshop employees, including permanent staff, labour hire and contractors.
- Manage and maintain electronic and hard copy personnel file for W/S Employees, Labour Hire.
- Deliver HSE related training from time to time as appropriate.
- Assist in the preparation of safety related topics and information to be presented at weekly toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings as requested
- Updating OHS register for corrective actions from WPI reports.
- Assist Management with information and relevant communications placed on the Workshop noticeboards.
- Processing uniform and personal protective equipment requests from workshop personnel.
- Manage and maintain company TMS including reviewing and entering of timesheets daily.
- Monitor and manage annual leave register and Take 5 database daily.
- Upload confined space entry permits and crane lift studies to relevant job files.
- Filing of all Safety/Workshop documentation.
- Recording all incidents and updating WPI register.
- Assist Workshop Manager with any relevant workshop administrative tasks as requested
- Liaise with Health & Safety Representative when required.
- Other administrative duties as required by the SHE Manager within the scope of your abilities and knowledge.
- Administration of Pronto management system for receipting and update.
Knowledge and Skills
- Cert IV in Business Administration, or equivalent administration experience desirable
- Experience with TMS desirable
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/workshop environment desirable
- Experience with Microsoft office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a pleasant 'can do' attitude, and the ability to act independently and work collaboratively with a team.
