The Armadale Line Upgrade Alliance (ALUA) is an Alliance partnership between Acciona Construction Australia, BMD Constructions, WSP Australia, AECOM Australia and the Public Transport Authority (PTA). The Alliance is delivering the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal project which will, elevated three sections of the rail line and remove six level crossings, create 5 new elevated train stations and create new publicly accessible spaces within the rail corridor.

We’re currently searching for an Overhead Line (OLE)Project Engineer on a full-time basis to work within our Rail Infrastructure team.
Reporting to our discipline leads, this newly created role will see you:
- Support and assist with the project’s overall delivery of the OLE works.
- Work with and manage a broad range of subcontractors including local suppliers and vendors.
- Interface regularly with discipline leads, design teams, system assurance, Public Transport Authority (PTA), and Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID) to ensure delivery of OLE scopes are compliant with technical, time, budget, and safety requirements.
- Provide relevant technical assistance to our supervisors and building contractors for OLE works.
- Prepare, review, and develop specifications for installation, testing and commissioning of OLE systems on the project.
- Ensure overall quality management including all necessary documentation are maintained in accordance with the Quality Management Plan and Commissioning Plan.
- Assist with review of sub-contractor documentation.
- Assist with planning and preparing scope of works documentation for both temporary and permanent works
What you will bring to the team:
- A tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent with previous experience in a rail infrastructure OLE or Signaling works
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, including the ability to provide clear advice and direction to field staff, and on occasion work with minimal supervision.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Previous experience or exposure to the PTA will be highly regarded.
