On-Site Project Manager

Our team deliver mining services to the Australian coal markets, specialising in Underground Ventilation. We provide critical services and infrastructure for Australia's mining sector and are an industry partner with some of the largest top tier companies in the world.

About the Role:

As a Project Manager you will deliver key strategic projects that support our organisational objectives and goals. You will work on a variety of programs across the organisation, manage projects from inception to implementation. You will:

• Maintain constructive relationships with Client representative and other key project stakeholders.
• Foster collaborative relationships and engage stakeholders in task allocation and deliverables to support project goals and whole-of-business outcomes.
• Managing onsite personnel, inductions and skill requirements for projects.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive project plans in order to successfully deliver projects on time and according to the quality requirements.
• Develop plans that consider business requirements, operational and project constraints, and interdependencies.
• Establish resources for your team according to the estimate and contractual variations.
• Prepare and present all plans, budgets, forecasts and reports required for your role in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Report on project activities and progress, identify issues, and proactively manage risk to ensure timely and informed decisions.
• Implement measures to sustain and improve the performance of your team to deliver effective and efficient work outcomes.

What you will bring: 

To be successful in this role you will be a natural organiser who enjoys collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across multiple projects and project types. You will have a pragmatic approach and experience in mid-size projects within small to medium organisations. You will also have:

• Project Management Experience in Underground Coal Industry
• Valid driver's license
• Standard 11 (surface and underground)
• Supervisors Tickets
• Forklift ticket.
• Previous Ventilation Experience an advantage. 
• Demonstrated experience in building safe, highly productive teams.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly, set priorities, organise work and allocate resources to deliver project outcomes effectively and efficiently.
• Drive to succeed and work in a supportive, team culture.
