Are you looking for a flexible work opportunity in an exciting role that you can own? We are looking for an Onsite Event Assistant to be our main point of contact at our event venues. This role is suitable for someone that is flexible with their time and looking to fulfil a few days in the month to gain some experience working in the events industry. You will have your set days scheduled at least 2 months in advance, and a friendly, dynamic team ready to support you.

The Role
The Hatchery is seeking an Onsite Event Assistant to oversee the set up of the venues and coordinate delegate registrations. The role will also act as the liaison between the venue contact, facilitators and delegates to ensure management of food and beverage, and event run sheet runs smoothly.
This role is best suited for a self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service to ensure our events are a success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate venue set up for all conferences and workshops onsite.
- Registration management:
- Set up registration desk with name badges and lanyards
- Welcoming delegates as they arrive
- Navigate IT system (Salesforce) to enter details of delegate if name badge is not supplied
- Support the event facilitator at workshops as required
- Ensure venue room is set up with company branding (banners, lanyards, name badges etc) as per event instructions
- Food and beverage management for delegates - act as liaison between delegates and venue for any dietary requirements, service timing, and catering quantities.
- Time management - ensure the event run sheet times are being adhered to.
