Operational Readiness Coordinator

·         Clinical lead in an $40m redevelopment

·         Leadership position, reporting to GM

·         2 years Fixed term, Full Time

The Opportunity

Mount Private Hospital is under redevelopment of our facilities, building a $40m in Cardiac Cath labs, wards and patient facilities.  We are seeking a hands-on Operational Readiness Coordinator, to interface with all stakeholders   This role is pivotal to our brownfield success and provides oversight to key Operational Readiness activities. An expansive role, this position will be the clinical lead for Mount Private Hospital and will achieve success, in part through:   

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (clinical, engineering, IT, facilities) to identify and define operational requirements
  • Monitoring & report on progress against ORP milestones and identify potential roadblocks
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments and external partners

About You

You will be an experienced registered nurse with excellent understanding of project coordination.  You will have great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must, backed by strong communication skills. You will have previous exposure to quality and/or IPAC principles and coordination of a redevelopment within a healthcare setting. An excellent communicator and with a hands-on ‘do’ mindset, you will have excellent detail, be a proven communicator and be comfortable working to deadlines. 

To be successful in your application, you will:

·         Hold AHPRA registration (essential)

·         Ability to work independently and as part of our local and national team

·         Problem-solving, analytical skills, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
