About the role
As the Operational Systems Analyst, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Operations department.
The Operational Systems Analyst’s functionality is the end-to-end responsibility for timely invoice processing of V/Line’s suppliers during planned and unplanned events. You will establish and maintain important connections with various stakeholders both within and outside V/Line.
Key Accountabilities include:
· Ensuring accurate validation of invoiced costs
· Organisation of invoices
· Processing of invoices within contractual timelines
· Participate in the User-Testing and fault-finding phases of system roll-outs

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
· Demonstrated alignment to V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights
· Year 12 or relevant work experience
· Retain intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Previous experience in system change or contract management support is desirable
· Demonstrated relationship management
· Strong organisational skills
· Knowledge of V/Line’s train and coach network is advantageous, but not essential

Remuneration for this position will be $83,805.10 (including super) in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019.
