Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join as part of a global finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with preferred experience in the NetSuite Manufacturing module. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the overall financial health of our Australian operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the Australian company, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials & work orders in the Netsuite Manufacturing module.
- Ordering of inventory and maintaining accurate inventory records in Netsuite, including periodic inventory counts.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, key sub ledgers, and tax accounts.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Assist the CTO with financial analysis and reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper, preferably in a manufacturing or software development environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software; experience with NetSuite Manufacturing module is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Netsuite.
