Role Description:
Order Processing
- Receive and review incoming orders. (EDI and/or Email)
- Enter orders into the system accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order details such as product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping addresses.
- Send orders to external logistics warehouse with required information and documentation, using customer portals where required.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders.
Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Coordinate and execute transportation, shipping, and delivery schedules to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate communication between departments and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
Communication and Customer Service
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and any issues that may arise.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving problems promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory transactions.
- Generate reports on order processing and shipping activities as needed.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline order processing and shipping procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to implement efficiency improvements.
Favourable Experience and skills
- Previous experience with Pronto
- USA related portals
- EDI systems
- Experience in administrative support or operations coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
