SalarySpirit Super and CareSuper are pleased to announce that they have entered into a binding agreement to merge the two funds. This comes after an extensive due diligence process, with the merger expected to be completed in late 2024.
About the role.
Reporting to the Manager Business Improvements, the role of Operation Business Improvement Analyst is responsible for enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness and member experience provided by the Operations Business Unit through identification, analysis, and design of business (process, policy and systems) improvements. This position is a 12-month fixed term opportunity to assist during our merge with CareSuper, hence there could be a potential for longer term in the future once we merge in October 2024.
Picture yourself.
- Partnering with the Operations Division (Fund Administration, Insurance and Claims and Service Delivery) to identify, plan and implement continuous improvements.
- Analysing existing policies, processes and systems for improvement opportunities using techniques such as Value Stream Mapping, Business Process Maturity Mapping etc.
- Liaising with subject matter experts and other internal and external stakeholders to gather information, capture current rules and processes, and identify business needs.
- Presenting improvement recommendations based on assessment of cost, benefits, risks, legislative compliance and ethical standards.
- Working with solution architects, solution designers, business analysts, business SMEs and other stakeholders to assess, design and deliver an efficient and effective process solutions.
- Facilitating the successful delivery of change driven by Organisational (Legislative, Transformational etc) and Operations Division initiatives.
- Conducting post implementation reviews on change impacts and report on findings to key stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?

- Appropriate industry or tertiary qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in building and cultivating effective partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders from idea to delivery.
- Experience building strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- An understanding of project management disciplines and process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience using different change models, change management principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role relating to implementing Business Improvement or change.
